Dečanska riznica is an educational mobile application, developed with the Museum of Serbian Orthodox Church. The app is an online database that showcases the most notable museum pieces.
The app consists of three parts:
- the history of the monastery Visoki Dečani
- the image gallery
- the 3D gallery.
In the image gallery, pieces are represented with an image and a brief info text.
In the 3D gallery the pieces are represented by highly detailed 3D models and accompanying text. The models have an auto-rotating option, but can be zoomed and rotated freely.
The app also features audio recordings of the texts.
The main goal is to create an online data base that will make museum pieces available to the wider audience.
The app will be available on multiple platforms and as a web page.
